Out of this World!

One lazy aftrenoon, while enjoyin the full forty minutes of lunch to myself at work, i wandered into the kitchen to find this "The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (1992)" on the fridge. Amused by its title, I quickly flicked through a few of its pages and what I read esp. at the end of the guide page left me in stitches...lets see if it amuses you..::)

How to leave the planet

1. Phone NASA. Their phone number is (731)483-3111, explain it is very important that you get away ASAP.
2. If they do not co-operate, phone any friend you may have in the White House –(202) 456-1414- to have a word on your behalf with the guys at NASA.
3. If you don’t have any friends at the White House, phone the Kremlin (ask the overseas operator for 0107-095-295-9051). They don’t have any friends there either (at least, none to speak of), bt they do seem to have a little influence, so you may as well try.
4. If that also fails, phone the Pope for guidance. His phone number is 011-39-6-6982, and I gather his switchboard is infallible.
5. If all these attempts fail, flag down a passing flying saucer and explain that it is vitally important you get away before your phone bill arrives.

Nevertheless, enjoy the links!

"He Who has created seven heavens in full harmony with one another: no incongruity will you see in the creation of the Most Gracious. And turn your vision (upon it) once more: can you see any flaw? Yea, turn your vision (upon it) again and yet again: (and every time) your vision will fall back upon you, dazzled and truly defeated." (Surat al-Mulk, 3-4)

“Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Surely, they have no firm belief. Or are the treasures of your Lord with them, or have they control over them?" (The Qur’an, 52:35-37)
